Acts of Kindness are Never Wasted – Winter Newsletter

At the end of each year we sit down to chat about business, both the highs and the lows, and to look to the coming year. We are so grateful for your business and support as we work to bring you the best in outdoor advertising.

One of the highlights of the past year has been working with many local organizations and nonprofits, helping them promote their events to the residents and visitors to their community.

Hometown Art Contest

One of my favorite things that we did was sponsor the “Hometown Art Contest” in Xenia Ohio! We had the opportunity to partner with schools in Greene county and offer an art contest to the local students. Hundreds of entries came in and were displayed at the Christmas festival in Xenia. After a hard competition we were able to choose a winner which was displayed on a billboard in Xenia for a month this winter! The “Hometown Art Contest” is such a fun way to enable students to design, create, and show their love for their small town. We look forward to partnering with more local schools in 2017!

Community Events

As we’ve added locations, we’ve been able to work in new towns and communities. We’ve enjoyed getting to know the businesses and people in these new areas and what makes them special. As we continue to invest in new and existing markets, we want to make it easier for organizations and non-profits to promote their events and advertise with us.

We now have a new section on the website dedicated to community events. If you’re affiliated with such an organization and you have an upcoming event or program that you would like to promote let us know. Visit us at: huntingtonoutdoor.com/community-events/

We are so grateful for your business and look forward to continue working together in 2017. Please let us know if we can help you in any other way or make your experience better.

Sincerely,
Jena Powell
